Scott,
Your uneducated eye is not wrong

Another thing is that little truck of theirs had NOTHING IN IT.
No tools, no tool boxes, nothing.
Just a machine, pump sprayer and plastic.

Chris,
Now you know why we stay away from KEC cleaning and take-out chicken restaurants....lol.

I finally got to see the Greasebuster video. What an eye opener. How come it takes them 2.5 hours on the job - they don't do anything! It's apparent that they are using a cold water gas PW with high temp seals (I hope) and a sears vac. Saving the cost of fuel oil ala D Mirza and using the customer's hot water. That chemical is definitely non-caustic due to the cavalier way they mix and handle it. You wouldn't last long rubbing a clothful of NAOH with you bare hand on a firewall. It's nothing new nor magical.

To the unsuspecting buyer or franchisee that video sells them.
Look how easy it is! No even a dirty job. Almost no tools and equipment needed and what little tools you do need all fit in a little 4 Cylinder pick up.

In the immortal words of Parker: "Grease is just good clean fun. It is easier than it looks and hardly anybody is doing it">

I personall would be embaressed to put out a video like that, If the wrong person saw that It could cause a lot of problems for that company. If they are so good why do they tarp then take down the filters? ass backward just like the way they clean the duct. with the way they operate, setup and cleaning, they should be in and out in 30 min. That leaves 2 hours to eat burittos, that is if they still have fingers left after that bad ass chemical eats them off. Hell with that kinda set up you can get into the kitchen exhaust cleaning business for next to nuthen. truck or car for that matter, pump up sprayer, plastic, and a home depot $500 pressure washer. Oh yeah, cant forget some mexicans and lots of burritos. ya got it, thats it. Now send me some dam money I am tired of working!!

Stay tuned.....Matt may have a short video to counter the "greasebusters" video.

We are wrapping post-production now.

Chris-I'd love to know how "cold" it is in Calif. Bet I got you beat!
