I am with you John, nothing like argueing about sports!! That was the best thing about college in my opinion, thousands of people from all over the country that thought their team was the best!!

LOL, were you serious about Nashville or sarcastic?? LOL, i dont think anyone here has ever heard that said about us before!! Go ahead and keep the five dollars and put it towards a plane ticket to Denver or Charlotte---those are two truly clean and nice places. The southside of Charlotte is the fanciest and cleanest place i think i've seen.

My Rams won, but if they play that way next week, they'll be sitting at home superbowl week. Green Bay simply lost the game, we had little to do with winning it.

I was 0 for 3 in my picks for the other games, but Pittsburgh is definitely playing some good football. If you Philly guys remember, you should have beat the Rams either the first or second game of the year! Should make for a fun game, either way it goes.

Did you guys see when they showed the picture of the Green Bay coaching staff from a few years back?? Holmgren, John Gruden, Jauron, Andy Reed, Steve Mariucci, Ray Rhodes.........pretty amazing all those coaches were on the same staff at one time.

Couple of points, Bidwell took his "cardinals" to arizona because noone around here wanted to spend money watching a loosing team. the cards sucked "big time".

Vermen left because he did what he was hired for. Get a team winning. Retired, couldn't stand to be retired, then found a job.

The Rams, sure they came from CA. NO ONE will dispute that. But none of the NFL owners wanted it, They came, they played, and kicked some butt. Couple of down times, but look what Marks has done with the aide of Lovie Smith.

Who will win the super bowl? Rams if they make it, winey boy "werner" isn't up to 100% though I think it's the media here that plays his injuries up. If the rams sneak by the eagles, then I would bet money on it that they win the Super Bowl.

I agree with your analogy. I did think the Ravens could repeat because there defense started to peak before the end of the season. The Steelers proved otherwise.

I now think that the winner of the Rams/Philly will take the big prize. But we all know what they say about the NFL, Any given Sunday anyone can win. Should be interesting.
 
I stopped betting on football games years ago but the bookies here have New England a 9 point underdog against Pitt Sunday and it makes me wanna come out of "retirement" bad!!! I didn't get to see the Patriots all season and that team is good!! They seem to play off of that QB and if he's hot Sunday lookout!! There are alot of QB's who come into the league, do good for a year, and you never hear of'em again, but Brady looks as good as any young one I've ever seen.

Now that was a game. My stomach just now settled down. Sports casters are already saying Rams by several touchdowns. Which doesn't mean alot of anything, since they favored the Rams over the Eagles by twelve. Rams will do it. Don't think the Pats offense can hold our defense. (If our right defense decides to play that day!).
