Who does house washes ....

I use my pressure washer but use little pressure.....I down stream as of now,,,,(until I get me chemical pump set up going)....let the house wash set for a bit and then light wash it down.....There are always some spots where I have to actually use some pressure but mostly just rinse with low pressure and hot water.

Same here the 40 its what I use when i do use pressure and i use high volume tip to rinse the high areas.....Cleaned a chimney today that I had to use pressuer on, it turned out great.....would have pics but my 9 yr old dropped my camera and I wasnt able to take after pics when I was done

with no pressure washer?

I think Tim does, anyone else?

I have used the bandit and it works fine. I just prefer the downstreaming so as to not have to lug around all that mix. And mixing on site is just too slow. I use a 0060 for soaping AND rinsing.

My set up I am doing is a 12 volt.....devalan fat boy..... dont know if I will run it with a deep cycle battery or just use a small generator Ihave that has 12 outlet post.....will prob use the generator to run the pump since it is good to run a generator and not let it set up....plus it will keep the generator out of my garage....lol

Anyone use 12 volt or 115 volt systems?
I have used a 12volt to apply chems on entire house washes but only in certain circumstances and I always follow up with a lite rinse but I use my pw'er for that.

I like to down stream but i seem to delute too much down streaming, thats why i am going to try the chemical pump method. I will be mixing my house wash mix in a 60-65 gal tank ( it willnot be full most of the time unless I have several to do at one time).

I only use a dedicated pump and a water hose.

Only time a pressure washer is used is for concrete.

I have done house washing with the Delavan, ShurFlo, Bandit, Downstream, and the X-Jet.

There are many ways to do the job but what really matters is what you like and what works best for you and makes you happy.

i use a 12V system with (2) batteries to power the delavan, my rewind reel, and my boiler. Currently the system is not set for using pressure and non-pressure methods simultaneously. I would need (2) delavans for that to work properly.

I haven't used a pw to wash exteriors in years. We have a 8gpm washer and no chem injector. We mix on site with the help of a 15 gpm pump, which is also our rinse pump. High flow rinse all from garden hose nozzles on most exteriors. If you are set up right you can really apply and rinse with great efficiency.

I hear ya Tim :D
Here is a screen room cleaning in tampa we just did last week.
As a rule, we do not go after house washing, or screen room cleaning either.
But the economy is not good :(
So, what the heck ?
I think I will go after it ?
