Where were you thread

I was a white water river guide in Northern California.

Nick? Ron? Where are you guys all at?

I might as well just fold it all up here and move to Florida in a retirement trailer park. :drag:

I was 21 and my daughter was just born and we just moved into our first house. We did go out on the weekends and boogied down to all the great dance music of the early 80's :sarcastic: My hay day was around the middle 70's.

Peter Frampton on the 8 track player with a match book holding the tape in so it would play ...lol Do U Feel Like We Do !!!

Ahh flash backs, I was driving a 1976 Carpri and loving my one year old son, living in a single wide trailer. Running a Solna 264 Printing press. Making 6.50 hour I was 21

I to saw Peter Fampton in 82 he was great. I saw the beach boys they really bad they got boo and the all left the stage for a little while in 78

1981, I bought a fire engine red AMC Eagle SX4, I installed a kick-a-s stereo (3rd place in a contest in Danbury, CT) but I would never have played THAT tune in my ride! I was more a rock guy - still am.

So you were the guy!!! Not many of those were sold.

We had an AMC Concord!!! My parents bought it brand new. It used to die on us at random times. We had to get rid of it because they couldn't ever figure out why. We moved on up to a 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel!!! 50 hp!!!

In my defense, I had lived in Milwaukee - just a few blocks from an AMC frame assembly plant. No kidding, I almost bought a Pacer!

The pacers had their own sense of cool. We had a local dealership that woiuld put AMC 390's in them. They SCREAMED!!! They also did the same thing to Gremlins.
