When they are looking

When commercial property managers are returning your calls as well as asking for your insurance information, is this a good sign or is it routine? Do they typically want your insurance information with their name already listed on it just to check you out, or is it your experience that they are heavily considering you when they are wanting that info?

If it is directly from the property manager, I have found, more often than not, that they want to do business with you... but on a few occasions they have taken the information for their vendor file.

I would look at it as a positive thing - as we all know, property managers are busy and if they have taken the time to request that information and then 'handle' it when it comes back to them, they want to get it taken care of.

I dont normaly send them a COI until they agree on the contract. But if they are asking you for your info more than likely they are intrested.

Thank guys. That is positive reinforcement from two of the best doing that kind of work

I sure hope so.

I was asked to fill out a vendor form a couple weeks ago. They said theyd be in contact.

I guess ive got to be patient but i wish theyd get around to the contacting part!

Good luck Chris!

Chris,

I've waited up to 18 months for commercial property managers... they've got so much else going on - pressure washing sometimes falls low on the pecking order.

:to_pick_ones_nose3:

yeah ive got you. Im just trying to be consistent in staying in contact with them.

Surely all this bs mailing and writing estimates will pay off one of these days.

Thanks Dustin

If they are asking for your info thats usually a good thing. I have had them ask and then not get anything from them for over a year.

I just bid a huge job yesterday against a franchise and they called me today and told us everything looks awesome and they asked for our insurance and wanted their name on the cert. I sure hope we got it.. when they want their name on the GL insurance and tell you exactly how they want it.. I sure hope that means i got the job.
