What's my Burner exhaust temp?

I've never measured exhaust temps, so I can only say frickin hot. If you use a collector over the stack, it will draw in cool air as the heated air rises out of the stack. I use double walled gas flue http://www.hartandcooley.com/Products/venting/b-vent/hart-and-cooley-type-b-gas-vent.aspx to build a chimney as long as I'm getting make up air. If you're attaching the flue solidly to the machine, you'll need pipe rated for oil or wood http://www.hartandcooley.com/Products/venting/chimney/tlc-5-to-8-inch.aspx .

I have used a single wall pipe in the past and it works ok but it will have a tendency to breakdown and needs to be replaced every once in a while. I agree with Russ, if you want to avoid potential burn issues go with a 'b' vent. The double wall will keep the outer housing much cooler than the single wall. You can pick it up at fireplace stores or heating supply companies. Some home improvement stores will carry it but it is tough to find an 8-10" pipe there.
