What's in your toolbox?

Extra pull cord for my 4gpm……8gpm is electric start…(Jumper cables in truck)

Yes I have 2 sets of jumper cables. Once we had to jump start my truck off of the machine.

Wd40, bolt blaster, starting fluid and extra oil go into a battery box.
Tool bag has ratchet set, ratcheting wrenches, adjustable wrenches, Chanel locks, Teflon tape, o-rings, short wands, guns, spare injectors, injector rebuild kits, parts box that I keep nozzles in, multi-purpose tool (I'm too cheap to buy a letherman) screw drivers (one is insulated) and snap ring pliers for changing o-ring on swivel for surface cleaner.
Center punch and a gutter ball (don't know why those are in there)

A second tool bag has spare unloaders, spare gun, a parts box that has extra couplers and plugs (all stainless) and water hose repair kits. Spare surface cleaner bar and swivel, Spare caps for chemical drums. 12v tester, grease gun, hammer, rubber mallet, assorted hex driver set, more wrenches, assorted fittings and more.

Great list. I think I need a bigger toolbox!

I do most of my work on equipment, wands, guns, etc....with a couple pair of large crescent wrenches, med. and small crescent wrenches, small pipe wrench, wire brush, few rolls of teflon tape, few wrenches, channelocks and a few other tools in that small tool box.

In another small tool box I have more tools then I have those organizer trays with at least 3 or 4 of every plug and coupler, male and female of 1/4" and 3/8", o-rings, pick for changing o-rings, tap and die for 1/4" and 3/8", easy-out for pipes, vice on removable tube on trailer so I can move it when needed. This is the small stuff that fits in the truck tool box, there are more things in there but this is the stuff that I use mostly. More wands, guns, hoses, injectors, etc..... on the trailer if needed.

Common CL !! Pics??? Your a video man!! No intro and music!!

I know right! Last couple of weeks been crazy, and I got new tool box and cox reels for the trailer. That's going to be the first video of the new year. I'm going on vacation for the rest of the year!

does anybody have any suggestions how I can mark the tips for my surface cleaner. I have all different orifices and the stamp doesn't seem to last, so sometimes I can't tell which tip is which.

color coded - acrylic fingernail polish, or pill bottles, or little zip locks

Ralph, take a box like CL has on the right. Tape a paper on the inside of the lid with horizontal and vertical lines drawn to mimic the different squares. Then write which nozzles are in which square. You'll want it on the inside so when you open the lid your label is right in front of you.
Does that make sense?

Yes. I had little zip lock bags with the numbers on them, but somehow I end up with a pocket full of tips and got to break out the glasses and try to separate them. I fear the same thing will happen, with the box. Got to get more organized.

I am going to only use three different sizes from now on. 3.5s 4s and 5s. That way can tell a lot easier which is which. I run 5 gpm @ 3000 psi, and rarely use the 3s, because the concrete here can't take it. I end up with a gutter full of sand.

Paint will not last on nozzles on the surface cleaner if that is what you meant. In storage, the numbers stay on the nozzles just about forever as they are stamped into the nozzle, GP and Spraying systems do this. Stay away from all the other brands except the ceramic nozzles, those are great.

What I do is keep a little notepad in the truck and mark what nozzles are in what surface cleaner so you have a record and if you change them out, use a ziploc bag and mark the bag with a marker what number the nozzles are so when you need to use them again, you have them right there.

OR

Buy another spray bar and swap them out as needed, it is faster and you can then mark on the spray bar what nozzles are in it but you would need a record as the marker will not last when cleaning. I did this with a couple of my Classics, had the 3.0 nozzles in one spray bar, 3.5's in another and then 4.0's in another spray bar when I only had one classic, now with 2 of them, I mainly use 3.0's in one of them and 3.5's in the other and keep the extra spray bar in the truck when needed.

I got two surface cleaners running now. Maybe I'll just switch them out instead of the nozzles. I really only use the 3.5's. But sometimes I have to use the 4's on newer driveways they seem to shed the cream too easily. I use the 5's on painted driveways, for paint prep. I do use GP nozzles and the stamps are just gone...maybe they are knockoffs.

The metal will wear down and the marks will be gone in a short time, think of them being sandblasted with the dirt and sand when you are washing. I have a classic spray bar that part of the aluminum bar is worn down a lot, it is just how it is. This is why I have the surface cleaners marked which nozzles are in each so I use the surface cleaner that has the nozzles for the strength of the concrete.

I wish the stamps were deeper into the metal but then that would cost more or might affect the structural integrity of the spray nozzle with the pressure running through them.
