Muck boots
I was just talking about those the other day. I definitely gotta get me a pair to try out. My feet are usually killing me at the end of the day.
Muck boots
I wear a Tilley hat. Life time guarantee, last four or five years, and have a broad brim. They are also very light. I wear my nearly every time I get out of the truck, especially at a job site. It has become a bit of a trademark for me.
For Gloves, I get latex, or similar gloves from Microflex. They are extra thick, and if you are cheap and live in Vegas, you can reuse them.
For boots, I wear the Muckboots. They really are not that bad, even if it is hot. I also wear Danners. It depends on the type of work that I am doing.
Oops, lt6. Very light and very comfortable
Or you could just wear the "I AINT TOUCHIN THAT!" suit......View attachment 24665
boy how times change. are you still washing 60 70 hours a week??I guess that I spend the most on my feet. I wear Ecco's with Gore Tex. They are about $200 a pair. I also put Birkenstock insoles in them. They are $50 a pair. So I have $250 in my boots. I have found that this is the most effective combination for me, but I also get really wet shoes. I do rewaterproof them every Saturday after I get home. That gives them all day Sunday to dry out and soak in the water proofing. I also usually get six months out of them before the leather starts cracking. Lesser boots usually last me three months before they are shot. Before the flames start, keep in mind that I am washing 60-70 hours a week, year round. So that would be equal to the 18 months or so that a lot of guys get out of a pair of boots.
