What size buffer?

Hey guys,
I'm a bit new to the pressure washing scene, really have only been doing roof and exterior cleaning, no flatwork or anything of that nature.. I got a 8gpm cold water unit for rinsing on house washes, and hopefully some flat work ( for flat work I have a 250 gallon tank) But I want to add this unit to my roof cleaning trailer, and the biggest tank I can fit in there is 100 gallons.. I know with the float valve I will loose like 8-10 gallons off the top and another 10 off the bottom..

Will 100 gallons be enough for residential work with the 8gpm machine? Thanks!

Yes.....I have a 100 gallon for one of my 8GPM rigs and it rarely if ever runs dry. Only in the rare occasion that we run across low water pressure.

I have a 135 tank. No issues at all with the 8gpm. If we run the 8gpm and the 4gpm with surface cleaners it will dip down to approx 30 gallons. I just added a second supply reel for some larger flat work we have coming up so I can feel the tank with 2 supply hoses. I only added the second reel for when it's needed. So one reel has 200 feet of 3/4 supply abd the other has 100 feet of 3/4 supply. Or I can add the two together if I need 300 total feet. I will be plumbing the second Hudson valve this week.
