I have heard alot about the sureflow system. Would like to know how it works and where to buy it. Do you use it separate from your pressure washer? How much do they usually cost? Would appreciate any information. Anna
A Sureflo pump is incorporated in the Deckhand portable sprayer, you can also buy it by itself.Sureflo pumps are available in AC and DC models. This system lets you mix chemicals stronger than using a downstream chemical injector. If you wash a lot of trucks, you can have one person spraying the chemicals at the diluted rate with the Sureflo and one person with the pressure washer. This method will cut your cleaning time in half. You can also spray some concrete sealers with them along with wood stains and sealers. Either way you go it will become a piece of equiptment you will use a lot. A great time saver remember ,TIME IS MONEY.

1.4 gpm 60 psi $69
3.0 gpm 45 psi $79

I attached one to a hand cart along with a 50 ft 3/8 inch hose reel and a 12 volt deep cycle battery. The battery lasts all day on a 15 minute charge.I will never touch a pump up sprayer again in my life(if I can help it)
I use the 1.4 gpm
next year I am going to attatch the 3 gpm to the same cart with a switch so I can use the 3 gpm for chems and the 1.4 for sealer. There is enough pressure to push the chems through the 50 foot hose.I use all quick connects with screens at every connection. The tip hasn't clogged once this whole year.
The Sureflo pumps also come in 115 volt models. I use the 3.2 gpm @ 45 psi with 100 ft. of 3/8' hose to apply truck wash and it works well. The 115 volt pumps are more expensive though.
The blue box on legs has one of our diaphram pumps inside. There is a tube going into the 5 gallon jug under it. This is how we apply our kitchen degreaser is some cases. Very caustic product!
I would like to buy a shureflow pump but not sure which one to buy. I like the sounds of the 3gpm 45psi in NTcatelog. The only thing is it has 1/2 inch ports on it does that mean you have to have 1/2" hose? seems bulky to me or can you reduce it to 3/8. The 1.4GPM 60PSI HAS 3/8 ports on it but would that be enough to soak houses and fleets the gpm seems light to me.I see STEVE ROWLETT has a 115 volt model with 3/8 hose on it 3.2 45psi where do they sell that model do not see it in NT?
Jeff, The pump is a Shurflo model #2088-394-154. Call Glenn at Ace Cleaning Service( 866-788-5074) and he can ship you one. This is the pump we use for fleets. This way you can mix your chemicals in 30 or 55 Gal. drums mounted on your trailer or truck. As for soaking the houses I use the X-Jet, he has those also. I can help you with the mixture ratio's on the X-Jet too. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
