Ok, I was doing a simple house wash this morning(downstreaming) with 150 ft of hose, every thing going fine.. I needed to add some more hose to reach the back of the house so I hooked up another 150 ft section.. After I did that I couldn't get anymore chems.. I figured the ball was stuck on the d'streamer so I took it apart and to my knowledge everything looked fine. I had another injector in the tool box so I put the new one on thinking it would be a quick fix.. Got It installed and went back to washing.. I did start to get some chems but it wasnt nearly what it was before.. I have downstreamed with 300 ft plenty of times with no problem, but just wandering if that may have had something to do with it???

Xjetters rule
downstreamers drool
too much hose, is it a super suds sucker?

Your injector would not draw after you added the hose. You could have moved your solution and injector to where you connected your extra hose. Bob sells a modified injector that will pull through a long hose. Buy two if you can. It gets lonely when you lose one.

My chem tank is mounted on the trailer..

We just use a dedicated pump.hate downstreaming!! But thenagain, I've never seen anyone do it quickly and effectiveley.

2nd Scott D. I think our work is that much better with dedicated pump and faster w/ 2 guys....
I love downstreaming!! Only 5 to 10 gallons of mix to wash most normal sized homes..

Get the super suds sucker from espec. They work great and you won't have to drag sloshing buckets around

buy a longer lawn hose. or connect to a closer bib. or rebuild your soap injector. smaller orifice is good idea too.
