What do you guys think of this setup?

the set up must have come from Florida. A company called Ameritech. I have two of those cold water units, they have lasted 8 years. Great reliable machines. this is a decent set up if you are just starting in the business. To do flat work it is much better to have a higher GPM and hot water. This seems like a mobile detail set up. It all depends on what you are looking to do. (commercial, residential, fleets, or detailing) this setup is not good for fleets or commercial but will work for res. and auto detailing. Hope this helps!

$1800

Machine might do for making enough $$ to upgrade then use as a back-up. That set up will only be efficient in Residential. But with the trailer and quality surface cleaner and hose reels, it is a good base to add a hot water machine to.

My apologies, I should have listed what I was hoping to start with as far as work type.

I am, as you listed, looking to start with residential and possibly RV parks here in Florida.

Not wanting to spend 6k + on a new setup just yet :)

RV parks here in fl pay nothing, they want their ddbl wides done for $75.00 or less this price also would incl the carports drive & walk. If you were set up with a large tank 600 gal or more and you could go in there and do 10/12 a day then it would be worth it, but that rarely happens.

If you have no intensions on doing commercial work right now then the set up you are showing there on craigslist would be fine, I would just add a 300 gal tank to the set up, and a 150 gal chemical tank for roof cleaning along with a chemical pump (Delvan).

A ok starter unit for residential

Rv Parks in Mississippi only want to pay 50.00 a mobile home wether it's double or single wide.. I don't mess with them . I offered to clean 4 trailer parks at 90.00 a trailer .. They turned me down and hired a guy with a walmart cold water machine and a bucket of bleach .. I saw them clean one the other day and it looks worse than before they cleaned it

Ok for a starter set-up. I don't use hot water that much, we're in Florida it's hot enough, and we have CHLORINE!!!!
