what I recently saw and just sharing...dont know if it works
A guy in my area had a cold water unit mounted on an open trailer,and it had a home-made styrofoam box covering the pump and motor. It was made from that pink construction foam, and it sat over the pump/motor. Dont know if it was vented any how on top with holes but it had plenty of room on the sides for breathing room, noticeably bigger than the machine.
