I feel sorry for you having to work altime even though the winter in you'lls area.Here I'm getting a few days off b/c of the cold,this week and next week our highs 30..32...cloudly and sunny.Get to ballup in a chair and watch tv,eat and run up town here and there,cann't go hunting b/c its closed b/c of the flood we got back last week,we had 2 weeks of rainly weather before the cold got here.Ice as formed in the flooded aera's which is pretty in a way or until someone rolls the window down,nothing funny about dat cold wind.I enjoy our winters b/c of time off day after day after day not just a day or two.I don't even mind washing in the cold when I get a chance,seems things clean better or it comes off easier or I'm moving faster to stay warm one.I like useing the weather to get days off like rainly weather but in the winter I can use the cold even though the sun is shin'ing pretty and bright................COME ON SPRING TIME

I use the cold weather to hide out in my garage ... sometimes I just clean tools and put 'em back where they belong....... sometimes I work on that ole jeep untill I get so tired that I cant stand.... then I go in..... I hate watching T.V I think it's a waist of time.... OOOOOo I forgot to tell ya That ole jeep I posted in the summer I took that old mail trk. bodie off and im going to put a fiberglass one on ......... It looks preaty neat just sitting there with the whells ,engine,and everyting else..... but a body.....
I going to put the springs on top of the rears enstead of on the bottom ... it should raise it up ..........

I always find something to do.... we have a pool table in the bacement and I try to play all the time...... we are having a new years eve bash @ our house .... maybe I can win some of that Christmas $ back........so who knows maybe I will have enough money to buy that fiberglass jeep ... after the new year..........
 
I know just what you guys are talking about. Last night it dipped down into the upper 40's and there was even some moisture on the ground and car windshields (most of it dried by 7 am) On the cold afternoons we have to put on a sweater or jacket when we are playing ping pong in the backyard overlooking the cold Pacific Ocean (50 -60 degree) on the west side and then looking North East and seeing the snow on the mountains. BRRRR! Yeah, springtime is just around the corner, back to 65 degree nights and 80 degree days! Then we can hang out in our shorts and tank tops with our brews to cool us off!

Pretty cold even in central florida. Vinny went out today with his wool hat and gloves on. Even the customers hose was frozen. Was in the lower 40s this morning 50s by afternoon. At least we know it will not last long. Guess you cannot have it warm all the time as long as it does not snow. Anna

North Florida's Pretty Cold Right Now

Hey at least we dont have to deal with the snow and ice like some of you but it's pretty chilly for Fl right now 21deg last night and a high of low low 50's for today. Condidering I was born in raised in South Fl it's downright cold right now, but as Anna said at least we know it wont last long here in Fl. Ah I think I'm gonna take the day off today as a cold day since I have 2 days open to reschedule next week no since in going out and getting sick if I have open days to reschedule! But hey at least I can still work, I'm sure it would be real rough on some of you up there to even try to go out and work right now, try to stay warm:cool: as I know it isn't as easy as it is down here with the sun still shining and all.:cool:
 
Im looking out my window now and it is really putting down the white stuff.... maybe we will try out the new sleds SANTA brought ........
 
You guys can have all that warm weather, I like the snow - snowmobiling, skiing, sleding, it doesn't get any better. I'd rather be washing when its 30 then 90.:D
 
Hey Dan,if thats the same front that came though here flooding us your going to need more than the sleds to try out,you'll be wishing you'd had put two foot blocks on top of the jeep ax.

Man dang heck fire that cold down in the far south huh,20's heck guess I need to look at dat weather map more offen,guess your orange's freezen again huh.Bet the plumbers are doing good right now down there,no no no I don't want to come down and get any dat money,don't like plumbing in the cold burrrrrr.

Guess that was a pretty strong front that came though to push cold air all the way down in warmland,,,,,,hahahahaha just thought of something Debi I think said she was going to FL. for a few weeks and get some that warm air hehehehehe.

Ron,you wouldn't know what I'd give for the 70's weather here for a few days,atleast the boat seat wouldn't freeze to my butt when I set down or back the boat off in a thin layer of ice,no I'm not running all over the lake looking for a shade tree but sunny spots are a welcome site "IF" it has a wind block from the wind.
 
That's the way it should be from nov thru march, no less then a foot of snow on the ground. :)
Most of our snow has melted but the mountains are looking pretty good.
 
It's really a beautiful day today here in Florida. The temperature is 70 degrees. All the people are walking around in shorts and tee shirts. Really feels good after those few days of cold weather. The nights get a little chilly which is all right with me as long as I am inside. My Mom who is 89yrs old will be coming this week to get away from the cold in New York. She does not even care that she has to take a plane to come, it is worth it to her. She stays until April when it warms up alittle. Here's hoping this warm weather makes her bones stronger for another year. Anna:)
 
Hope so too Anna,she must be a spring chicken anyway flying around in planes and all,at that age your lucky she can get around to come down,she's past average for sure.

It tried spitting snow lastnight but it was to cold for it to happen,just spit now and then.This week Monday though Friday the temp is at freexen but Saturaday it's going to warm up and rain again,looks like another weekend shoot,didn't guess I'll work none next year haha,haven't worked the last month of this year either,can I barrow-o some money.

so far knock on wood i havent missed a weekend .......... it is going to be a lil warmer this w/end ........ im glad; i got 80 trailers to do.... but it dont scare me i will be driving around cleaning 'em.........
 
OMG Dan,

Woman like em tall and lanky so just how much y'all think Bigboy can make an hour with that body of his?

Oh hold on here, almost forgot, is he up to par and can he keep going?
 
I can stop and get a bottle of pills,than I could be going tall and par plus charge what I want.

gosh Jim looks like more than a dump,looks more like double scoop full with extra throwed in.

Now that picture I can see its real but don't know bout dat fish picture,something looks fish-e bout it to me,guess you catched it on a BIG redworm huh.
