Wanting to get rid of the telescoping wand...

I've been pressure washing for an apt complex for a couple years now using a 20 ft. telescoping wand. They've got a really bad bird nest problem on their 2nd story and that is all I'm paid to wash is the eves of the building up high. I was wondering what you guys think would be a better switch for me the laddersaver or the x-jet?

Downstream and use a long range tip. You don't have to lug around a bucket like an x-jet.

Throw away your telescoping want.

Yea I plan on getting rid of it.....what do you think about downstreaming with the laddersaver? I've been doing some researching and it seems like it will reach higher than a 0040 or 0030 tip.

Original xjet here I like the added 5-10 feet it can shoot, what's a telescoping wand?.. Lol

From what I've read I like the original x-jet over the M5 because of that reason. I'd like to get as much height as possible. I just can't decide between a laddersaver or the original x-jet....

A 0030 and or a 0040 will apply chems and shhot just as far as a ladder saver. Someone did a video of this awhile back. I think it was Al Patterson.

My 0040 tip @4 GPMs does'nt shoot high enough for what I need.

OK,,,, well then please do tell...How high are you trying to reach? Maybe if we know we may be able to stir you in the right direction. I've done 3 story bldgs with a 0030 with 4gpm machines and had no problem reaching the top.

40-50 ft.....if I could reach as high as you are in your pic with a decent amount of pressure that would be awesome.

If your looking for a decent amount of pressure to be hitting the surface at that height then you may definetly need an X-jet.

If I have a problem getting stuff off at that height with just a 3ft lance, I normally use one of my 6 ft lances and if need be, an 8 ft ladder. With those combined I've never had any difficulty even knocking down a wasp nest @ 30-35ft.
