I have received a couple e-mails recently from different people about a virus called jdbgmgr.exe. It goes on to tell you that norton and mcafee cannot detect it. Then tells how to delete it. I checked at http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=99436 and it is just a hoax. The jdbgmgr.exe file is used in writing java scripts. The e-mails did have an attachment that my McAfee deleted do to being unsafe. Has anyone else gotten this warning
This is a fairly common hoax, as is another similar hoax. The file it tells you to search for a delete is a Windows system file, and deleting it will hinder some functions of Windows applications. For more information on hoaxes, check out www.snopes.com
