Video using Adobe Premiere

This is my first attempt at making a complete video with premiere I have used other video editors because of the simplicity. I see the potential with the program if you have the time to learn it took me 5x longer to do this video and its not as smooth but, if you learn the program you can obviously do amazing things.

Unless you plan on going into fulltime video production, Premiere is overkill and a huge waste of time. I have the Adobe cs6 master collection and still find it mich quicker and easier to make videos with either Vegas or VideoStudio.

That is a nice video, how much are those programs? My son wanted a version of Sony Vegas Pro so he can make better videos for his gaming channel on youtube but I heard it is over $400 so I cannot get it for him right now, an older version might work if I can find one.

The Adobe collection start at $1000 and goes up to around $2500 then plugins etc.. Overkill for me but I already have it. So I'm determined to use it. If my son was interested I would go with the adobe products they will be around and if he learns it plenty of money to be had. The other products will come and go plus they are limited/Easy. Adobe your only limitation is the imagination. Adobe

Best case scenario Chris, your son will become intrigued by the potential of what he can create - put the game down, and spend hours learning the suite. Had I began years ago when I bought photoshop 6.0, I would be at least a 6 figure creative by now.

Test the waters with Corel VideoStudio Pro x6 - it's under $100. You may be able to find an older version even cheaper

I learned x4 2 years ago for making how-to videos for my old job. I read this book: http://www.amazon.com/Picture-Yourself-Making-Creative-VideoStudio/dp/1435457269 cover to cover in about 2 weeks.

Thanks CL, I will show this to my son.
