Vegetable oil?

Had a guy call me today whos in the produce business and had a large crate of vegetable spill on his concrete pad. Anything special I need to remove it? I was thinking caustic would work but wanted to make sure.

I have to let him know something tomorrow morning.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You thought right....if there is a lot(i.e. gallons on the ground)put down some oil-dry to collect the excess.After you sweep it up bag in and throw it in a dumpster.
Clean with caustic degreaser.

... to expand on what Scott says - if you don't have any oil-dry, another absorbent like sand or kitty litter can give you similar results to remove the surface stuff. Oil Dry is better though!
