I found a guy that has a duel axle open trailer,550 gal tank,alkota 5.5 hot water unit with brand new 16 hp engine and pump,3 surface cleaners,150 ft of recovery hose,a custom made 5 chamber water filter system [110,volt] mounted on trailer,tool box's,pressure lines,wands,ect...
He claims the gray water can be reused as its filtered. 2 50 gal diamond plate tanks. no generator,he plugs in at customer.
i have a generator.
he has moved on to genral contracting and used this for total recovery on government projects[dumpster cleaning] and restraunt floor work. 2 filters for solid waste and 3 for water filtering[one of them is for oil]
it was custom made by steel eagle.
he wants $8500 for everything.
 
Sounds like a decent deal. Does the machine have an hour meter? Ask for date of orginal purchase and any record of service done.
 
My thought is $5,000 to $6,000 maximum.

I sell a New trailer with the same flow and capability for about $12,000 with a 1 year wartanty.

A used unit is almost always worth at least half of the retail value of a new one.

this set-up cost the guy $18,000 did you read about the 3 surface cleaners and custom steel eagle filter system?
 
Get me more info on the machine and I can even find out how old it really is. Serial # Model #
 
Did you already buy the machine?
Alkota is a great machine and I love working on them but the surface cleaners by Aaladin are a bit hard to work on. They are made by Steel Eagle. Tell me more about the recovery system and I can evaluate it as well. Pictures would be nice if you can get them.
