Unloader issue

Looks like a K7 not getting the right flow.

That was my first thought or it was getting air.Probably a bit of debris in the tip or too much restriction in the line. Do what Russ said and change your tips or just back off the unloader about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn and that should correct the problem.

It was the tips. The original ones that come with the Classic were 25/2.. I changed them as you suggested with 25/3 and it worked perfectly :). Question though, I didnt put the little "8ts" to the new tips that were inside the old ones, are they critically important for the right performance of the SC or I can work without them?

Thank You all for the help :).

P.S. I payed 20 bucks for the two meg tips at a local PW store :(..

no you dont need to worry about them

I dont use these IMEG nozzles, but the manufacturer made that design for some reasons, .... I am not sure if in our line of pressure cleaning we could see the difference with the naked eye, this is what their testing revealed.

Glad you got it working and it was only minor :woot:

I know the feeling. 1/4" meg nozzles here are $6.99

What are 8ts ??

Those are pieces of metal tubes that connected together that look like the number 8 on it's side that slide down into the spray nozzle to help with the spraying, I have used them and then changed out those nozzles and I did not see any difference.

I do not know if it really makes a difference, maybe on some surface maybe?

I guess most of you guys missed the pdf file I posted above, I know some dont like to download files to their computer, so here is the link on the purpose of the "figure 8" (the file does not give permission to post as a jpeg)

So that's part of the nozzle? Can I take it out and put it into the others?

I am not sure it is that simple, remove then replace, ......it may have to be aligned, a certain type of fit, it may have some engineering to it, i am not certain.

My guess is if it was that easy it would have an after market company making them so that you can put them in regular nozzles, but I dont think there is that part "figure 8's" after market alone.

It says "patent pending internal design", so I guess that can't be aftermarket-ed.
If the performance is better as its described in the PDF file, I wouldn't mind to buy another pair, but I don't see any of the suppliers to sell i-megs.

That has not stopped many a company, especially the ones offshore

Check with the distributors on this BBS, they maybe able to get them.
