union county water restrictions

i was just informed today union county has declared a stage 1 water restriction mandating voluntary water restrictions.

it was also stated that if voluntary conservation is unsuccessful,a stage 2 mandatory restriction would be issued which would make it illegal to wash automobiles, sidewalks and outside areas.

has anyone locally noticed a drop off in buisness due to the water shortage?

i assume the drop off in sales would be with homeowners mostly,
i know the builders call no matter what.

There is a water restriction here also, odd even lawn watering according to yiour address. It does not apply to PW's just residents and stores

We are under water restrictions here for a while now........no noticeable effect on my business except a few jobs that I brought the water because they are on well water and was worried about it drying up.....

it is nice to see the rule doesnt apply to pressure washing companies but i bet the homeowners dont know this and it probably affects residential sales.

i have two yellow page ads under two different companies and
this week i have had 4 calls for the home improvement business and 1 call for pressure washing, all of which i had to turn down because i dont have time to go look at the jobs.
