Any questions about an event have nothing to do with this thread.

    When you stated to environmental regulators in Nevada that you represented the UAMCC would be a solid verifiable instance. Another is when you used the Past president and BOD as the sources, and ignored the current president and board. I am certain there are more

    Because Kristopher was trying to divert and confuse the original question. The other option would have been to ban him, or delete his posts, but as you well know, that would have created a plethora of other problems.

    Do you have examples? By the way, Beth has not been pure as the wind driven snow. She has allowed multiple attacks on her board, then hides under the veil of "I don't have time to deal with that" when she is confronted on it. I have been a victim of those attacks, multiple times, and without reason. When she had something said about her that was similar, she called into question my character. As far as I know, I am not the only person that should fall under that scrutiny. I would prefer that everyone was held to a high standard. It isn't happening, some people think that they would never act inappropriately, despite a long history.

    I want a single example of a false statement made about either of these two people. You have probably chosen two people of the lowest moral fiber of anyone I have ever encountered, and are trying to defend them. I find that both shocking and aggravating.

    There was no controversy caused until a group of contractors thought it would be a good thing to contact environmental authorities in a city that they have no ongoing business in, and interfering with the local AHJ's. It was obviously an attempt to stifle competition, increase equipment sales, or damage contract cleaners.

And that is the way it is from my point of view. Additionally Robert, since when is it okay to make fun of the business of someone that is providing for their family? And since when is it acceptable to spread a lie about someone having a failing business? I have encountered at least two times, both on forums, and in emails.
 
Everything you mentioned is True Scott, they have bashed you, Tony Shelton, Ron, Doug, myself and another or two over there and let it happen for a while then pull them out of sight after a while but the damage had been done, people get attacked, bashed and harassed over there and then suddenly there is no evidence. Even the moderators over there not only let it happen but also participate.

This has been talked about here before on many occasions but usually there is one of them that will come on here and mis-direct and talk about the bashing that happens here which will probably happen, usually about the time after Robert posts so they can start mis-directing again.

It is a shame that the questions are not answered but instead they ask questions of their own as another of many, many mis-directions to take attention away from them not answering.

I suppose some of those were meant for me.

1) In addition to the lies pointed out by Scott, The biggest lie of all was the lie about not "shopping" the BMPs. All the rest of them are personal lies about individuals like myself which are immaterial to the industry as a whole.

4) No secret, the general consensus is that we are happy you posted it. It would have been posted by us anyway if it was determined that the PWNA was going to take no action on it. Thank you for posting it.

5) I will answer that. In my own personal opinion I have zero respect for Beth, either as a contractor or a person in general. This comes from 5 years of interaction with her. She feels the same about me and has expressed it both in words and in actions that include banning me from her board. It is mutual. I don't recall ever making disparaging remarks about Allison. She is loyal to her boss. I respect loyalty. I don't respect hiding facts or hearing vicious death threats and then blaming the victim of those threats as if anything that has been done deserves death threats. After that incident I lost all respect for Allison. It was like blaming a rape victim for wearing shorts. I have no respect for that kind of thinking. If that is disparaging so be it.

6) I have never banned anyone. I am however banned on two boards that John and Jim post on regularly regarding what they speculate my financial situation and the status of my business to be. Of course they don't use names because a coward never does. But they make it very clear they are talking about me.

As the co-chair of the Environmental Committee (at the time) for the UAMCC I took it upon myself to make that trip in an attempt to try to determine fact from fiction regarding the horror stories (lies) told by Jim Gamble regarding the atmosphere for contractors in the state of California and the Northwest. The only way to do that was to stop at as many places as I could and ask questions about their BMPs and what the level of enforcement and interpretation really was.

What I found out was that Jim had completely lied about the atmosphere in that state. What I found was a great bunch of regulators who are simply doing their job to the best of their ability with the information they have to work with. There was only one city out of the list where I found an antagonistic attitude and it was surprising since that city was one of the dirtiest.

I never suggested anything to them. I simply asked them what their BMP's were, where I could find them and if they had ever fined any contractors. Interestingly, in spite of Jim's unsubstantiated claims of "contractors being fined all over the place", not a single one of the regulators could recall a direct instance where a power washing company was fined doing normal cleaning and not hazardous waste clean up.

I came away from the trip with a new hope for our industry after the veil of lies was lifted and started working even closer with our own AHJ to spread the word that we are cleaners, not polluters.

I specifically avoided Jim's AHJ, Tim. I did, however, meet him later in the year, at a wastewater convention in Nevada. This was totally random. I had no idea who he was till I heard him being introduced before he spoke.

I had lunch with Carlos Gonzales while I was in Jim's region and I expressed the same sentiment to him and told him I specifically avoided Jim's AHJ and skipped on to the next town. I am sure Carlos will verify this.

Also, I have never seen Jim's family outside the time I helped him drive home from the 2009 Las Vegas event. He has two small kids, After 4 years I doubt I would recognize them if I saw them.

I would question you as to why you felt the need to drive by my house during the Las Vegas event. Didn't you realize I've got 8 security cameras up all over this property, three of which take in ALL street traffic?

8) I am unaware of any "controversy" I have caused regarding your event. You and Jim are the ones who promised an entire garage deck would be cleaned and didn't deliver. You and Jim are the ones who brought in a public official to speak at a private event under false pretenses. Any controversy about your event was brought on by your own entanglement in lies and deceit. I had nothing to do with any of the many and various fabricated problems that Jim tried to use as excuses for his event failure. The silence on the boards after a year of proclaiming it as the greatest event on the planet speaks volumes about the complete failure of it. Own it. It is yours.

9) I've never called a single customer of Jim's or John's. If you want to call the Nevada EPA one of your "customers" because you pitched them on hiring you to rewrite our BMP's then I guess I have to plead guilty to calling one of your "customers". In my defense, that "customer" of yours regulates the industry that feeds my family. I believe I had every right to contact them.

Now, please go back to the beginning of the thread and offer the same courtesy and answer the question posed to you.

Great post as always Tony.

That video footage of someone stalking you at your house Tony might be used in court if other things start happening to you, your business or your family member's businesses. I would hold onto that video.

It really is a shame that so called "professionals" will resort to these tactics and then lie about them, try to misdirect the attention away from them and still not answer basic questions asked of them.

Why is it so hard for them to answer those questions?

I love reading these threads- it like a real life train wreck..

We spray high pressured water at the cement and dirt and grime goes down a drain- nothing more or less- well if you add chems, which I dont.

Why all these issues?-

I really enjoy what Tony has to say- whether he is right or wrong- always well written and direct, I suspect he doesn't lie and is a straight shooter.

I have had one interaction with Jim Gamble as I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. A few years back he called me out of the blue to go on some boat in the bay with a bunch of his customers and pressure washing machine reps from numerous companies. Got a bad/weird vibe from Gamble, so I listened to his "what a great day on the bay it would be and how cool it was" then he asked for money. Like it was a cruise ship- I told him "Yeah i'll get back to ya". Never did and last I ever heard from him. (Just my 2 cent story)

As the great and deceased Rodney King said "Cant we all just get along"
 
The sad truth is that we clearly can't get along (sorry Mr King) because the other side of the issues chooses character assassination and misdirection over admitting the truth and moving forward. When that is the case good men must stand up so that evil can't triumph.
 
We don't need to get along.

There is no such thing as a united industry.

There are plenty of con artists lying in wait to take advantage of guys just trying to make a living.

Who would want to "unite" with that?

This is a time of exposure.

Choose a side, stay loyal, and lets move the industry forward. Handshaking across the aisle has produced nothing but an atmosphere of discontent and mistrust by the authorities who regulate our industry.

It's time to work together and leave the opportunists behind.

Except I don't get quite so judgmental about who is evil and who isn't.
