How hard is to wash a truck, push a surface cleaner, etc. If it takes a person 15+ years to figure it out, like some guys harp on..I dunno. Aren't you still out washing? I'm just asking. I look at business as a business, not a job I have to report to every day for labor. From that aspect, I would take advice from those that coach the "experienced contractors" on how to make money and grow their business. Someone getting up and saying "I was poor, I started a company and now I am a millionaire" while semi motivational, is not education. I wanted to go to the convention more than life itself but a terminally ill family member now on their death bed, it wasn't God's will.
You get what you pay for. Don't take offense to it. It has nothing to do with the UAMCC, PWNA, NCE, you, me or otherwise.

o guy, they advertise one day or half day where all can come and see what it's all about. You can usally get a day pass to any orgs Fuctions one time.
Your right Ken , I wouldn't come to free events with multiple million dollars. Experinced contractors. Just seems much better to pay a bunch of dollars. To others to line there pockets. Hands down this sounds better. Maybe ne t year Tony Robbins? 450.00 instead of 250.0o
look guys the Uamcc is not even is the same league as nce and never will be. I and others will never hold events that cost 1000 or 3000 to attend, your right u get what u pay for.
Nce model is to bring as much value at a resonable price, when it stops doing that I will bag it.
The Uamcc & yes. Carlos has done some good things. All people involved should just stop. Funny you will never see Carlos on record for ron musgraves efforts???
Yet I realize despite my difference of ideals that Carlos has ibdo not discredit the good he has accomplished unlike what I keep hearing from some industry sources that are truly guys that shoot straight.
I wish Carlos & the entire Uamcc good luck despite the wrong doings I feel that have happened to me. It's Almost a new year and I'm looking forward to fresh new leaders.

And I will join when and if you endorse the organization (I suspect others will to ) based on the fact many joined the first time on your reccomendation.

David, I'm flatered you think that. I do believe the influence of many made them join. I'm one guy and they have alot good folks that joined. I'm certain combined efforts is the reason they members today.
I think Robert & pete have directly put more members inthe org than anyone. Dist telling there customers is large. Collectively we all have supported the org, we all want it to succeed. Many inthe industry bought Carlos and his approach, I myself jumped right in.
If I could do things different i would have waited till they actually had a bod.

Here's one of your 4 yr members asking another member about how to get chain restaurants with another or your star members giving advice he learned directly from Ron.

Ken, you know absolutely ZERO about what most of the commercial contractors need to know to grow their business in today's environment. Would you like me to bring up some of your old posts declaring what percentage of your business you must spend on advertising in order to grow your business, or would you like to defer to Lonnie and his success with "stenciling"?
How about a challenge. Why don't you pick out 5 of your best guys with less than 2 years of experience (please pick DJ as one of them) and PWI can pick out 5 guys with the same experience. You can even let your guys peek at PWI for help.
After three years let's take a look at P&L's. The only rule is that your guys can't attend a single NCE event and PWI guys can't attend any UAMCC events.
Let's see how they are doing in 3 years.
While it's understandable that you wouldn't attend an event because of a terminally ill relative, where have you been for all the other events? There are lots of guys who showed up for events with the last money they had. Surely a guy with a beach house and no labor to provide for his company could have found time to make it to a few events for the sake of helping other contractors learn how to "make money and grow their business".
Sounds like you're shooting a bunch of trash talk from the couch.
And by the way, where's the Godfather of PWI this week. I think he's up near your neck of the woods. I wonder how he makes the money to travel like that? Maybe you should show him what he's doing wrong.
