We've been campers a lot over the past few years and used a large truck camper because a) you don't have to give the government money to register it and b) because you can easily pull a boat behind it and c)because you could drop it and use the truck for sightseeing without disturbing your camp.

But this is what I was really looking for. Now I've got a new goal.

That is really cool!

You can have your flatbed on the truck with the pressure washer, tank, reels, etc... and when you want to go camping, drop the pwbed and put on the camper.

Very cool idea.
 
I saw a link about a year ago for a company making contractor caps that had legs and allowed them to be taken out of the truck and then another truck could pull up under it and keep on going. They looked almost the same and looked well built but ran 5-7K a piece.

There was a company in Texas last year that would custom make a 34 ft lift that looks like a spider and you drive under it to load it in the truck bed. When you get to the stop you just extend the spiderlegs and it levels and sets itself. I think they ran about 12k custom made.
