The truck is just about done, just needs exhaust pipe for burner installed.
Triple Clean Powerwash is ready to do business..
I have learned a lot from ya'll. Thank you for the knowledge you share and the way your willing to help one another..
It's a Hotsy 1290 SSG 3k psi and 5.6 gpm Dual gun setup. One side is downstreaming the other is just regular pressure. I went with the Honda 20 horse engine.
The truck is an older Isuzu NPR with a Morgan box. 14ft length and about 8x8 wide.

Nice. How many turns in the exhaust pipe though? I'm that good at the mechanics of it, but you may be restricting your flow from the muffler a bit. I like the fact you have some room in your setup though. Seems like people cram everything they can in the smallest space they can. Makes me feel a little closed in.

Good luck.

Not sure how many bends. The guy I am buying from is real picky about me having whats right for me..He has a helper with the installs but inspects everything. I will take your advice and at least ask about it...Thank You and nice to mee ya! I had a good friend helping me get my business started, she suggested box truck and I do like it. It is not to bad in traffic actually..Takes less space to park than a trailer/truck setup....I'm sure there are other trade offs I haven't thought of but I like it so far.

Hey Thomas,
Blaine here. I'm assuming that the "tote" in the background is your water tank. Is this correct? If so, you may want to rethink your layout a little bit. I don't like how your pump is elevated compared to your water tank. You will be increasing the chances of cavitating your pump when your water level gets lower, and you will be replacing valves, seals, and brass heads on a regular basis.Just some friendly advice....

nice set up man!! good luck with it. I wish i had setup like that when i first started!!

Nice rig man,but are you going to be able to fuel it it looks like the machine is set way back,a fuel hose at a gas pump is what 6,7 feet long.

I like the box truck wish I had one.

Thank you guys for the feedback and insight.. I will ask my installer about these possible things.. That is why I like hearing from people in the trade so I have help catching these things..

Thanks Biodude, I asked my installer/rep and he pointed out an inline "flopper valve just outside of tank outlet to pump. (watts regulator valve). As long as I stay above 25 gallons I should be ok. I can get a motor shut off switch hooked to a float switch in the tank and have it shut down at 40 gallons...
That's in theory of course....I will keep an eye on it none the less...:)

Hotsy makes a nice unit. It should work well for you. A couple of other things I noticed: Have you already spun the recoil around on the motor? It looks like it may be a little difficult to start up against the wall. Also, the red hose coming off of your pump-you may want to slideit through a clear hose to protect it from rubbing on the floor. The vibration usually cases a wear spot and in my experience they seem to burst at the most inopportune time. Other than that, just make sure you have good brakes and take good care of your equipment 'cause you've got some money invested in it. You'll do fine!

That is a nice rig. I have the Hotsy 1295SS. It is a one gun rig, 5.6gpm and 3000psi with a Briggs Vanguard 21HP engine.

If your rig is a 2 gun, what is the flow when both are running, 2.7gpm?

When I checked back in January, they were still not making 2 gun rigs, I need to call my dealer again and see what the deal is.

nice rig . the only thing that would concern me would be the exhaust comming from the honda engine.. i did alot of research on this subject.... the rule of thumb is you go 1/8 inch for every foot in the system ... if not you will burn the valves out very quickly ....... also stay away from hard 90s you want to use long sweeping ones .... i have a level switch installed in my tank to not loose a prime on the pump...

Nice Rig Thomas!!! my old truck was an NPR awesome work truck, great turning radius, not to bad on fuel (mine was a Diesel),low maintenance I think you will do all right with that set-up. I have an International LoPro 4700 now I really like it and surprising enough it has a wicked turning radius wish I had a little extra room like you have in your truck that will be nice to get around in. Anyways Good Luck not that I have a whole lot more knowledge then you but if I can help you out give a call or e-mail. dh

Thanks again for the pointers, insight and kind words...and above all being willing to steer a new guy in the right direction...Thomas:cool:

The carpet you have on the floor is a fire hazard, esp with fuel present. I would throw the carpet out.
