Trash chutes in high rises

Yes I have done these, do you have drains that work in the room below. Cover with screens god awful stuff will come out. Call me about odor removal secrets.
 
We clean one for the local housing authority that is 18 stories high. Very interesting job. We use duct spinner nozzle and lower it down the chutes with a ball valve just in case we have to stop it quick. Go to every floor and securely cover the chute openings because caution tape and plastic doesn't stop a determined resident that wants to put there trash down. Luckily at the bottom the cans are in a room so it's easy to recover the water. And your right Ron the smell is definitely something you won't forget. We usually pour a deodorizer or some bleach down when we're done.
