I was also around 25 yrs younger, you dont feel the cold as bad when your a young blood. We hunted close to Durango right outside of the San Juan National Forest. GOOD TIMES !!

I wish i still had the Browning BAR 300 win mag with a Zeiss scope. I traded that beautiful rifle for a Motorcycle :banghead:

Man thats a nice gun and Scope! I have never had a scope that nice!!! One of these days I'm gonna pull the trigger and buy one. Only problem is I get in trouble for spending too much money on guns and ammo now. I don't think I can slide a $1200 to $1500 scope past the boss. Then again, what she don't know!!!! ha!!

Back in the day my buddy who set up the hunt had a FFL and i got everything for his cost. The mark up is unreal, i think i paid $500.00 for the rifle and $300.00 for the scope.

That set up today would be about $2500.00 easy. And that was back when the Browning rifles were still made by Fabrique National in Belgian.
