Think And Grow Rich by Nepoleon Hill

It's a great book. I myself have read it partially, and never got around to finishing the entirety of it...

But I got the jist.

If you set a large goal in your mind, you must set smaller attainable goals and work to reach them. What the mind can conceive, you can acheive. You simply have to truly believe you will get there and work to be there.

Both of those books have great lessons, but are so bleeding boring to read. Took me 2 tries to make it through think and grow rich.

Audible baby...Audible. I spend $20 a month and get two audio books. Which I listen to while doing work in the field. It's beautiful. Out there getting smarter and smarter, and people are paying me to do it!

Richest man in Babylon is also a great read. Also, you are right there are many similarities between the two. The greatest salesman in the world part one and part two are also good reads. Same type of context as The Richest Man in Babylon. Right now I'm reading SPIN Selling. Not very far but I can already tell it will be very useful.

Took me for ever to get through The Millionaire next door. Boring reads!!! Lol

I learned a lot about how this business runs through reading the forums. LOL

One of my favorite reads (though I hate how everything for him is a sales pitch) is Rich Dad, Poor Dad. His quadrant idea was genius. He also said before you take on liabilities, go out and get assets! Basic business 101.

I also have studied a lot on Real Estate through understanding what they're going through and how the operate in Rental vs. Flip options in both Residential and Commercial (which are both different beasts)

... and a TON OF MARKETING AND SALES BOOKS/COURSES. The amount of money I've dumped into that is unreal haha... Though I will admit, I learned a lot more from my Marketing/Sales mentor than those books can ever teach you.

Business (obviously besides creating a sustainable income) is more about the lifestyle for me than anything else.

I'd like to live life... PASSIVELY! I never understood the concept of doing something you didn't like in life... Ultimately, We all have choices!

I've had "think and grow" in my library for 10+ yrs. Never got around to reading it. I can't seem to put down John Maxwell's books and I'm re-reading 7habits right now.

I have read all those books but did not get the message as I read them decades ago, I might try to read them again.

I have tried to wade through the ocean of marketing books and tried to find good ones but most seem re-hash of the old 60's and 70's stuff that does not work.

Any suggestions on good marketing books?

Thanks.

I have read this book as well. As a matter of fact its on my nightstand so I can read again. I love the story about FORD and how he conducted his business.
