They want me back



When their belt broke two months after the cleaning, it was my fault.

They switched hood cleaners and had a fire.

Now they are opening a new restaurant. They called and want it cleaned today or tomorrow or they can't open.


My NEW PRICE SCHEDULE goes into effect (affect?) today.
 
I know how you feel, an extinguisher account we last serviced in 2001 called today. We lost the job to the cheap sleazy people. Today they want to talk.

A resturant account called, they had a fire last week. Today they want to talk. We discussed the deficiencies, I will not perform the repairs unless I can repair the deficiencies.

Last week a former bar account called. They had formerly decided to use the cheap sleazy people. I pointed out the deficiencies. This week I will upgrade the fire suppression system.

This afternoon I got a call from another former resturant, they are upset about the quality of there cleaning. They want to talk.

While I would like to take care of everone, I get real choosy the second time around.

Increase your price, there is a reason they called you. Increase your prices, because now they know the difference in service.

Treat them like an ex-girlfriend that cheated on you and left and now she wants to get with you again.The relationship is obvoiusly not ever going to be the same and new rules are going to have to be laid out so that you don't get hurt again. Hey I am starting to sound like Dr. Phil.

I like to use the girlfriend analogy because one time I used wife instead of girlfriend and when I got to the "that cheated on you" part the guy said "I would kill her". I told him we better think of a better analogy then.:D

Quote them "today's rates" which of course are higher than before.
No need to jack the price - just make sure they learn a valuable lesson regarding service and you are happy to have them back again.

"Service is not a commodity that can be bought and sold like toilet paper".
"Good service does not cost it pays!!!!"
