these fans smell like salad dressing

Yesterday it was the wiredest thing.
I was on a roof with 3 fans.

The first fan I saw smelled like ranch dressing.
The second one smelled like honey mustard.
The third smelled like balsamic vinaigrette (I had to go to the refigerator to check my spelling).

As soon as I went downstairs to check the hoods it all became much clearer.
