You know my wife and I try and get away for our anniversary. This year, NOLA falls on it. Do you think that she would notice if I was in classes all day? We did try to go to Nawlins one time before. They had a little storm called Katrina that hit that time. We cancelled.

What Do Affluent Homeowners Look For When They Hire You?

I recently read a fascinating book by marketing expert Dan Kennedy that focused entirely on marketing to the affluent.

Do you have wealthy homeowners in your area that you would like to sell your window cleaning services to? If so, then this post is for you.

Among the many salient truths he distilled from his extensive research and experiments is that affluent homeowners primarily look for service providers they can trust.

They expect excellent workmanship, too, of course, but primarily it’s their inclination to trust you that will seal the deal. No trust, no sale.

And, interestingly, he also found that their trust was earned primarily through social proof, as opposed to certification or years of experience or insurance-based positioning.

This is valuable information for you.

Because what this means is that if you can develop a marketing piece that focuses in on this quality of trust, and then pound it home by using all kinds of testimonials from other similar homeowners from the area, you’re going to succeed in capturing a larger number of new window cleaning clients.

Different strokes move different folks.

And affluent homeowners are certainly a unique type of buyer that are worth studying and understanding.

Our anniversary is the next weekend.

A lot of guys bring their wives. It's the only event that I know of that the wives push harder for than the husbands. The hotel is right in the middle of shopping, restaurants, antiques, art galleries- not right on Bourbon Street.

TONS of cool stuff to do.

Holy cow.
I just looked at the attendee list and there almost 20 guys bringing spouses.

Half of them are attending the main meeting. The other half will be shopping.
