I knew we were all doing it wrong. Curse you Tucker for poisoning the minds of these hard working roof cleaners.

Pay attention to where he says "some companies ACTUALLY use bleach!".

Chris, as long as we keep educating the homeowners about the correct methods, then these guys will be out of business shortly.

Precision Roof Cleaning is a company founded on the idea that businesses only grow if they do a superb job every time. As a young company we thrive on customer satisfaction, we want to make sure that you are comfortable and more than pleased with our work. We are fully insured and licensed allowing us the ability to work on commercial and residential jobs. We offer many services associated with pressure washing and surface sealing/staining. When we started precision roof cleaning we saw that other companies were cleaning off roofs every way but the right way. We know of companies that use BLEACH to kill the moss (and poison the plants and animals as well), companies weren’t even using a fungicide to kill the moss and just taking the top layer of moss off. On top of that, 99% of the companies weren’t even sealing the roof after they cleaned it, allowing the moss to grow back within months! Before we started our business, we, the owners, researched the art of roof cleaning and tested on our knowledge before approaching customers. Most of our information came from business in Florida that had been in existence for years. With the humidity levels in that region of the country, it is a breeding ground for moss and other airborne byproducts that discolor and degrade roof surfaces.



What we refuse to do...

It is no secret, especially in Southern California, that there are many companies that hire undocumented workers to cut down on costs and increase profits. Companies have driven each other to do this, if company A does and company B doesn’t, the majority of the time company B is going to lose bids to company A. Regardless, the only two people you will find working on your home are the two owners, Erich Schindelbeck and Ryan Raphael, we take pride in that.

I THINK that is what these guys count on, getting free links by being so outrageous.
They KNOW real roof cleaners will be talking about them, bringing them free links and traffic.

This company is near me somewhere stain-a-way .com See their contradiction:

"Did you clean your roof with chlorine? If so, your shingle life was shortened because it will dry out and crack the shingles and fungus will grow sooner. It is interesting to note that some manufacturers recommend that roofs actually be cleaned with bleach or chlorine---of course, they are in the business of selling shingles, therefore, the quicker your roof succumbs, the quicker they will be able to sell you a new roof"

"We strictly adhere to the recommendations of your roofing manufacturer for safe and effective roof cleaning."

I love the conspiracy theory!

Um, if all they want is to sell you new shingles why offer a solution at all?

Why don't they just say, you got stains, you need a new roof!
