I would LOVE to jump into that discussion, LOL
But, right now, I can only read it.

All I can say is IF you think Bleach doesn't penetrate, get some in your eye.

But, the Oregon State study is correct in saying bleach is NOT a long term mold solution.

The Chlorine does evaporate, and one is basically left with water, and salt!

The salt does prevent mold for awhile, but not long term.

The wind scatters the dried salt, and the rain water dissolves it, leaving the surface soon unprotected.

Borax to the rescue!

Yes!
It is what kills plants!
After 24 hours, very little Chlorine is left, it has evaporated.
The Salt that remains is THE problem.
