I think we should vote them all out. I am paying 12,000.00 a year for health insurance alone for my family and they want increases every year. All these idiots have to do (including the republicans) is let insurance companies compete across state lines and prices will be cut in half. I can't believe that nobody in this country understands that our healthcare industry is being run by insurance companies who make money by denying claims. They have made record profits this year and want increases across the board, I don't know about anyone else but I can't afford the status quo much longer.

Sorry for the soap box stance....The sign should read vote them all out!!!!!!!

Your right Kory and nick! Prescriptions and tort reform so Health care professionals can actually afford malpractice insurance.

I hear ya believe me !! I have been paying my families health care for 20 yrs now. When I started it was $750.00 for me and my wife every 2 months. Now we are paying $2100.00 every 2 months and I just heard they were giving themselves another 14% increase this year which will bring us up close to $2500.00

I understand why people have no insurance at these rediculous costs!!! How much is too much, they just seem to not give a shit and if you dont pay they will throw your ass to the curb. I just want the same deal that the congress gets work 1 year and you qualify for health care and your salary for the rest of your life. Who makes this shit up, I know I didnt vote for that!!
 
I wish mine was that cheap. For a while, we were at $1800 a month. There does need to be a national standard, instead of 50 state standards.
 
It is out of control. Without my wife being a teacher I'd be sunk with a major health issue. They'd have to shoot me like an old horse.

They need to open up all the states for competition, we should be able to shop for insurance in any state we choose. That will bring prices down to half just because of competition, but the insurance companies and their lawyers wont let that happen.
