Have you ever done the type of work that you are wanting picture's of? If not then that would be deceptive advertising. Not being a dick just wondering if you have any knowlege to back up the pictures?

This is true. Don't show pictures of results that you are not 100% sure you can produce for your customer. Maybe do a few jobs for your friends or on your own house and take pictures.

Ah no offense taken. I am able to produce the results, I just haven't taken pictures up until this point. I do have 3 jobs scheduled coming up that I'm planning to take before and after pictures, so those will go on as well. I've been doing pw as a rather side thing up until now and I'm attempting to shift it full time within the next few months. That involves a web site, and other stuff I'm sure you guys are aware of. Just getting the items to get to that point and bringing it all together is where I'm coming from. Going from here and there to full-time business is tough! I respect you guys that do it and depend on it!

Now there are obviously some things I haven't done. But you guys have been great so far and I pick up a countless amount of knowlegde here, so I'm not too worried.....yet! I've done mostly flatwork and few decks. Roofs will definitely be a new one but I'm confident. I will be doing work with friends before going out and attempting these things first time with a customer tho.

Thanks,

Thats all i was trying to say, thanks for understanding. There are alot of people that come here for help on how to do a specific job and thats all good.

But to post someone elses pictures on your site, and not being able to produce it will only hurt you.;)

No prob man, thanks for point that out!

Yea, I agree that would hurt. They're only going to be temporary, as I hope within 3 weeks, they'll all be replaced by my pictures.

When I started out I used my property to try out different techniques and cleaning solutions. I still have some sections of my roof I left dirty so I could try different things on. Better you learn on your own time with your own stuff and take pictures. News of bad work travels fast.

When we started, we passed out flyers for roof cleaning just to test the market. When we started getting called we told them we were booked for 2 weeks. It worked, and that gave us 2 weeks to go buy equipment, and practice on 3 friends roofs. :D

I know it sounds kind of Hackish, but you have to start somewhere. Good luck Nathan, if you ever need any advice, gimme a shout.
