You should post some pics of your rig and setup so we can see what you are working with. You were very adamant for us to show pics of ours.
I bought mine 5yrs ago to do a condo community. The bldgs were 3 story. Thought I was going to die using it. What a pain... Wasn't long after that I learned about ds'ing. What a fool I was back then...LMAO Mine still sits on my rack just looking pretty but she never does any work...
haha Have yet to use mine, it's only a month old but having only done a few houses so far, I feel like there will be a moment in time where it will come off the rack to be used and I'll have to figure how the harness goes LOLHA HA HA, Same here. Before I bought my telescopic wand I was looking at it in the magazine like it was a centerfold pinup. I used it once. now it sits on the side of the trailer looking pretty. What a waste of $189.00 .
I am sure you will find a place to try it out. I really like your company name. the slogan and logo are nice also. Did you do the work on them?haha Have yet to use mine, it's only a month old but having only done a few houses so far, I feel like there will be a moment in time where it will come off the rack to be used and I'll have to figure how the harness goes LOL
Yes I did. I'm new to this industry but have been a designer/art & creative director for 20+ years. My company merged with another, they laid off the top guy from each company, me being one of them, and now I'm here. Lots of people that know me think I'm crazy but i branded a KEC company 8 years ago and the seed was planted then. When I walked out the door after being let go, I was happy and now I have an opportunity to brand, market, advertise and do all I used to do but for me and my product. I like the industry and business, it involves 2 things I love, engines and guns. LOLI am sure you will find a place to try it out. I really like your company name. the slogan and logo are nice also. Did you do the work on them?
I use mine 2-3 times a year. Abstract building washes... I have one really good one that is super light, bought it with a trailer on CL.
I use mine probably 4-5 times a year for those jobs that don't really need a manlift, chemicals don't do the job and you just have to use some pressure.
I don't like to use them on medium to large jobs where a lift will be obviously better and faster but on the small jobs it is no big deal once you know how to use them and the tricks to them.
I have the 18', 24' and the aluminum 36' versions.
The aluminum 36' pole I have is not too heavy, I have not seen a 36' fiberglass pressure washing pole, not sure if they make them to compare. The 18' and 24' poles are fiberglass and not too heavy.
You don't need all the pressure your machine makes when cleaning up that high, it can be dangerous, be too hard to use and possibly bend the aluminum inner pole. Chemicals do help when cleaning up high.
The company I got the 36' aluminum pole from went out of business. I think that Coress makes aluminum pressure washing poles, if they are still in business. Tucker also makes aluminum poles for window cleaning but not sure if they can adapt them for pressure washing.
