Swine Flu prevention!

Search the CDC they have a link to the EPA web site that has 500 products that have been approved to use to clean for the flu

Thanks for all the great imput guys!!!! I just wanted to share my thoughts and ideas so maybe others could do the same in their towns.

One daycare I talked to today (or at least the guy on the phone, still got to talk to the director) said U.V. rays usually kill everything outside......

Hmmmmmmmmm That is interesting, wonder if there is any proof to that or is it just some guy's opinion? Facts will set you straight and help show others what is real and not.

People around our area are using a product called Max-Quat mixed 3 ounces to 5 gallons of water. Just spray it on and let it dry. It is an odorless broad spectrum sanitizer and disinfectant that is EPA registered.
Larry and Nickole do you guys have the product max-quat or is that another vender product.

Chris I was going to look more into that but even if U.V. kills alot outside it HAS to be good to still have the equipment cleaned also. Couldnt hurt right?

Something to think about: The Sun's U.V. rays don't shine on everything so there is stuff out there. The Sun's U.V. rays don't kill everything or we would not have roof fungus (yes down here it is on all sides of the roof, not just the north side).

Maybe the Sun's rays do kill the viruses and such but the Sun does not shine on all things all the time so there still is a chance to catch something.

I would rather be safe than sorry. You know how kids are, they will touch all the toys, playground equipment and still put their fingers in their mouths no matter how many times you tell them not to.

The Max Quat that Delco sells is $15.00 per gallon but cheaper by the case and when you do the math, 3 ounces into 5 gallons of water would give you 42.66 pails of cleaning solution (128 ounces divided by 3 ounces = 42.66) then that gives you 210 gallons of cleaning solution (42 pails x 5 gallons in each pail) so when you do the math, for $30.00 you would end up with 420 gallons of cleaning solution for the same price as the Lysol brand product.

I decided to get a case from Delco for this project for next week, they are not too far away, product looks good and sounds reasonable.

I got my order of Max Quat, that was very fast service!

I will be using it next week so now to order the scizzorlift to be delivered and the job is set and ready to go.

Thanks Larry!

Hey Richard
Were you able to land any of this type of work. Was wonder if it was working or not.

Chad I did my daughters daycare this past weekend,,,,I did it as no charge and they were very appreciative of my service....they sent me a ty letter home with my daughter and also put a letter in every childs cubby for their parents that had my name, and company name on it and in the letter they informed the parents what I did..
I will be attempting this week to nail down a few of the others in my area. ( I have been on night shift for the past 7 days and have not had much daylight hrs to prospect).
I will keep you informed how it goes and any recommendations on how to approach them as I learn them myself.....I will also post the letters they sent me and the other parents as soon as I remember how to shrink them to fit on here!
