Swabbys for sale

i wonder how much they cost.

So does that mean if you buy one from Australia, you're not subject to franchise restrictions here in the US? There's already a swabby guy in New York (I'm relatively certain he covers Long Island but I can't recall the url off the top of my head). WHERE'S JOHN T? Seems like you wouldn't be able to dictate what equipment another company purchases but advertising could get dicey.

Not sure how it was set up, but there may be legal issues in selling a swabby to a non franchisee.

John has the franchise rights for all of New York. You can buy territories and he bought them all.
If you were to buy a Swabby from somebody and operate in New York, there is not much John can or anyone else can do, but you are not allowed to use the Swabby name of "Clean Up America" or any variation of such as "Clean Up New York" or replacing New York with any of the Cities.

Thats right. There are legal issues if one was to buy a swabby and use it thats not franchised. The very least they can't use the name and there is no guarantee that they can get parts for the Swabby since Bill Clemmons has the patents on this machine.

Also if a Franchisee decides to sell off there equipment there are legal issues there that are in place to protect the Franchises.

As for the Droughts that are going on since the swabby is a closed loop system that is an advertising edge because of the less water needed to clean.

I don't know what the Franchise rule is for out of Country purchases. The Franchise name sake is "Clean Up America--and the state/area your in. My url is www.cleanupamericaofny.com Thats a good question Celeste as to what the rules are for oversee's purchases. I'll have to find out.

Back to the Drought in GA. just because the swabby is a closed loop system it doesn't mean that you can get more work during the drought if they said "No Powerwashing" to be done at this time. I heard that in GA in some parts the restrictions are at that point. If the issue is that they want you to use less water then the swabby can be a good selling point along with the Environmental Cleaning that it incorporates.

Thanks Ron!

Thinking out load here...so let's say you can pick one up for around 80k, its probably does not have all the bells and whistles that you would get for 100k.

You put 10k-20k down and finance the rest over probably 3-5 years. Or if you have great credit then the down payment is not that big of a deal. Prior to buying this you land several - meaning many :) specifically to use the Swabby with. Lock the customers into a 3 year contract with every year having the option to renogitiate the price of the contract with the intent of a slight increase every year.

Off the top of my head you are looking at roughly around 1,000-$2,000 a month for your payments.

Interesting!!
