Was wondering what you guys think could be wrong with my burnner.Have fuel, Air, and a sometimes good spark. the generator is working fine. You see a good cloud of white smoke when it starts and water gets warm then the breaker trips. (usually after about 2min.) Any help would be awsome.thanks

Finnaly got the meeting with a chain of stores and went to do a demo for the R.Manager and the FU%#ing burnner craps out on me in the begining. have the R.M, D.M., And the G.M. standing there.:banghead: I checked it before i left my house and it worked fine, the job was only an hour away. But it did drizzel a bit on my way there. I wanted to make sure I looked good and ended up looking like a Kook. But he said that it was fine he will be back down here next weekend too. he said get it working so i can see what you can do for us. they r not taking any bids they do it "in house" but i convinced them otherwise.

My burner was acting funny yesterday also, a few times there was some white smoke and I could really smell the burner from a distance while washing trucks.

We got rained on a few times yesterday but did eventually finish the trucks, burned 1.5 hours because of the rain but we had to finish.

It did stop eventually so I do not know what the deal is, I will have to take a look at it or take it to the shop.

Maybe Russ J. or Paul K know?

Talked to a buddy and he said it might be the flow switch. but.......?

My first thoughts are the fuel filter as it is running good at the start then stops for no particular reason. If you haven't changed that in a while I would do that.

It may be the flow switch sticking but if it runs good every time when you first start it I doubt that would be it. If it is getting up to heat and shutting down the thermostat could be the problem as well.

Double check the generator belt tension. A tripping breaker would lead me to believe that there may be a low voltage problem.
