Strange Physical Reaction

It's Friday, I can't go to the doctor till Monday (VA) but I've got some strange stuff going on and I think it might be related to cutting myself on a very very (tobacco) stained coil.

Wednesday I was in my sock feet and accidentally kicked the coil and my toe started bleeding like a stuck pig.

By Wednesday night I didn't feel so good.

By Thursday I was sick as a dog with flu like symptoms, but without the usually runny nose, etc. Temp was about 101-102.

A lot of water, some tylenol and a HOT electric blanket and I sweated most of it out last night.

Today I was working in the office, went to take the garbage outside and my vision went double. Covering one eye an object at 4 ft high looks 4f high, covering the other eye results in the same object looking 6 ft high. This lasted about 2 hrs before I took some ibuprofen and lay down for a couple of hours and napped. When I got up the double vision was gone, but there's a throbbing behind my eye.

I started taking penicillin just in case this is an infection from the coil. I can't think of anything else that could have caused it.

Have any of you guys ever had anything like this?
 
Some of these guy's can't fiqure out how to mix a house wash and you want them diagnosing a potential health risk... Get your ass to a doctor Tony..
 
Never had this happen, but as someone with a medical background, I would say, don't wait to go to the dr. I would go to the ER if I was having those same symptoms. Signs of a possibly nasty infection. Just my two cents.
 
Nicotine is a very toxic. It was used by the OSS in syringes in umbrellas to off people with a causal stick to the leg. An infection is more likely. Like the others said get your ass to an ER not an immediate care center. Don't wait until Monday.
 
Am I going to have to call Shelley? Get it done, go to the Doc, NOW!!!
 
When was your last TETANUS shot?
Go to the ER before someone needs to call 911

At least check in here every couple of hours so we know you are okay.

Is your life insruance paid up? Might as well make sure Shelley and Fayth are taken care of, if you are not going to take care of yourself.

Get in touch with Jim Gamble. High heat and pressure should cure you.

Seriously, go to the hospital dude. In Vegas I'll bet you can ever play the slot machines while you're waiting for the Doctor.
