Stop supporting worthless organizations

Good post Russ! But really no point in trying to make your point. It will just be taken out of context, in another direction in ADHD fashion till people are so confused they yell "Tater-Tot" when a dog barks.

Dang Shame.

Yep it did, it was quick too.

Only you didn't read the tittle, or maybe thats all you read. LOL

Slicker than a wet dog on a Summers Night

Tony I was anti org when I found PWI, Ron himself sold me on the org idea a couple of years ago so I listened and joined and then I watched as two orgs went different directions, now neither go in any direction, I simply feel I tried to support both and then watch their demise, not blaming one single person either, I blame the internet.

Orgs on the net are simply an extension of a bbs in my opinion. Its always the same personalities clashing every year.

I dont blame Ron, Tony, Mike, Robert, Carlos or anyone. Its everyones fault.

Post of the year!!!
There is some good chatter in hear, lets keep it up

I have considered joining the IWCA, I feel like they are all we really have...
The other orgs were already pretty bad off, and like Russ kinda said, the negativity is unreal. Finding enough like minded people is a real challenge for any new org in this industry. Fortunately i have met alot of them through the efforts of the orgs, and NCE and even my work on the attempted RCIA org. There are a few out there and they are talking, but building the right team is the part that has still yet to come. Time will tell, if we can stay positive and keep these kind of talks maybe with enough time there will be something we can really count on for commercial and residential contract cleaners.

Is it really being negative? are we here to help each other or candy coat the truth.

Maybe if we all stood for what's right and stop allowing people to get ripped off this would change.

It's called "confirmation bias" and those that do go all in with an Org not only have a need to validate their decision, they lock themselves up in an echo chamber of like minded people and eventually adopt a bunker mentality of us vs them. Once a person takes a position in the forums against a decision or activity of either of two certain orgs, any posts they make draw negative responses from the Org supporters and the worst examples actually come from BOD's. This includes not only non members but also any internal dissenters. The nail that stands up, gets hammered down.

If you cannot place principles above personalities, be open to different opinions, accept negative feedback and restrain yourself from attacking those that do disagree publicly......then you have no business being in a position of leadership.

I doubt I'll ever spend 1 penny with UAMCC and two of the three top three reasons have posted in this thread.

Dont trust Ron when he supports an org. He gives everyone the benefit of the doubt at first.

Tony, you're a really good person. Your testimony in life should be a book. And I am glad we're friends, so don't take what I'm about to say the wrong way.

Get your nose out of Ron's butt and listen.........This Is Isn't About Ron!!!!!!! And It Never Has Been!!!!

And that's not a slight against Ron, it's just the truth.

Russ I get it, really the Internet ?

Why has pwi not fallen then? Why is this still a popular place ? Because this site around all the negativity above all sorts the bs from truth. That something you helped build. Why because your a honest fair person.

The government of the bbs keeps even the guy who founded the membership here inline when I don't follow the rules.

Nothing or one single person can touch this place. We built a solid house of guys. In charge that are true leaders. Think about that ??

The staff here is amazing!

We get expert most from our industry to assist.

Can I ask why one little bbs can do so much? Because we as people collectively made it happen.

I belong to excellent orgs that have web forums. People don't run around discrediting members. They don't pick the phone up and tell someone I'm donating money too be-careful that guys trying to control or run you. They don't get on the phone and spread lies about me.

I just mention all this because it's a regular occurrence with this org industry stuff. It's like people need to have a gossip channel.

Its sad, truth is I could careless about them all too at this point. For the most part they are bull.

I won't be selling the dream just wait we are working on it. I won't support a new start up until the person has real benefits in place.

The premiss here is not to argue with you or anyone else. But to openly express honest reasons and answers. Give choices and truths of why we feel something works.

It's not the internet, something was missing from the start. It's a foundation an principals that lacks to get the house clean , strong independent from all to stand on it's own.

If I left pwi some say it would not be the same. That might be true, it will still be here when I returned in ten years. What it would be I don't know? But it will go on without me fir years to come.

Funny the very thing that you claim destroys built this place.

I'll just wait for a good org to come around, until then its all about biz & family. Life is Good!!!!!!!!!!

It's in the future, things gotta settle down. Uamcc still has a chance. Let's see what John Orr can do.

Now, the reason I made this post was to tell people how to determine the right org?

Anyone have any positives?

I say join your local chapters and networking groups.

They have paid great dividends for me and my companies.

Here's something that was a great idea my best friend came up with after a local BNI meeting. We assembled a private group that we monitor each other on leads and meet once a month. We have actually funneled many gross dollars into each other projects. Its been the single best org related thing we have done.

Recently we sponsored a runner in a local charity hospitality group we belong too. We met around 100 GM & DM at the event, it was 250 bucks to have our name on the runner.

We are doing a breast cancer rally for PM in Arizona in Feb thru another org.

In feb we will be a silver Sponsor for Broker for kids, we will pre an post clean the event free for the KIds.

Choosing the right org and choosing the worthless ones could be the difference in your success.

I will talk a bit further into this because I learned this from a Local politician. I'll disclose his name, I have written other threads about his inspiration.
I love my BNI group. I have a 20 person sales team that works hard for me and I work hard for them. WINNING$$

I know the industry supports PWI but it will not support an org built only from it.

Just my humble opinion.

I dont care, I am happy and there is a commercial right now so I had time.

Roll Tide!

Ok I'll say members support pwi. We don't run the industry here, we provide help to those that give and accept it.

Stay happy roll tide

Why not have a separate premium section here at pwi similar to what they've done with the Wcra? There is a lot of information shared over there and some very good benefits. I think there is just as much(if not more) here, but maybe it cant be shared openly.
Put a membership fee on it that will show members committment to the industry. Then possibly information could flow more freely. Maybe I'm wrong?

Oh and use the fees to fund this forum first AND then put the majority towards charity. Everyone could win from that.

That would go against my word, wcr runs on distributor driven money. There's nothing wrong with that at all. Pwi was started by contractors to never have any distributor influence at all. No paid distributor advertisers. Also it was made available free. I've kept my word for ten years. That's the problem. Plus it seems to run smooth considering people are working together. Chris and alex call all the shots and make all the decisions.

Great idea , just go against my promise to keep it free and away from outside influence.
