Lately I have been paying more attention to how I use Twitter and realized that I probably ignored basic safety settings for too long. I use the platform mainly to follow news and discussions but I never really checked who can see my activity or how my data is handled. After hearing several stories about hacked accounts and unwanted messages I started wondering if my profile is actually protected. I am not doing anything unusual there but it still feels uncomfortable knowing that small things like location or messages could be misused if settings are not reviewed carefully.
