I’m planning a DIY project and am torn between two finishing options. I want something durable that still shows off the natural beauty of the wood. I’ve seen arguments for both, but I’m unsure which will be best long-term.

I know paint can cover imperfections and offer a variety of colors, while stain enhances the wood grain and can be easier to maintain. Can anyone share their experience with stain vs paint for indoor furniture?

Which holds up better over time, and what about ease of application?
