They are temper glass if that makes a differents in the cleaning. The company that sold us the panels suggested at least once or twice a year more often if live near something like a rock quarry where a lot of dust is in the air. Their thoughts on pricing cleaning was $2 per panel on ground level panels, $3 if they are on one story structure and $4 on a two story structure. Of course a min charge of $125 or $150 would apply. I dont know if that could be profitable or not but maybe some window guys could chime in.

I don't let manufacturers set my prices. Those might be OK prices for a small panel but I've seen some larger panels that I would double those prices on.

Wow, nice article. 25% loss in power due to dirty pannels! That makes sense, but it is higher than I expected. I wonder how dirty these things were...
