Soft Roof Cleaning

what is the apple butter mix

Nice to see you today, Nick! You looked fantastic for guy that has been under the knife TWICE recently! Great Job on the roof.

Let me know how that Stampede works for you!

Got my order of the Amonyx Lo done today and it is shipped, wish it was already here for a job but the job will wait for the good stuff. Thanks Lori!

I am excited to try out this new stuff!

Chris, will this stuff help with foaming or just the cling?

I have foaming agent but don't want to hurt the cleaning capability of the roof mix.

I am thinking about making the Bandit foam again for roofs, I just don't have a high cfm air compressor unfortunately or I would be foaming roofs all the time, maybe even foaming buildings.

Thanks Chris and also thanks fr the info on the phone the other day.
You are welcome brother, I enjoyed talking with you!

It is both a viscosity and a foam enhancer Chris, as well as a powerful surfactant.
BTW Chris, Lafferty just came out with a new, dual purpose Foamer that only takes 1 cfm of air. I am told it can be easily adapted for roof cleaning use.

Thanks Lori, If the Ammonyx works good I will get it buy the drum.I will try out the stampede next week and let you know.

We went thru 165 gal of mix. If you are going to be doing a real steep roof look into that Ammonyx Lo seems to have much better cling than regular surfactant.

Thanks for the info Nick. I know you have tons of experience with these roofs, how long did it take for either of the roofs?

I have 2 more roofs to bid on now, one is very big so I am trying to guesstimate how many drums of the love, how many 5 gallon containers of the hang tite and possibly how long the job might take in days.

Thanks.

Well if you add the 2 roofs together that we did that day it was 11,700 sq ft of roof, and we went thru 310 gal of mix, it took us a total of 5 hours on the roofs. If your mix is right you should be able to clean 2500 sq ft an hour.

Thanks Nick.
