Roof Cleaning Palm Harbor Florida

Nice Palm Harbor Roof Cleaning work Nick!

Nice job Mr. Nick. I think almost all of those Tile Roofs over there in Presidents Landing are about that big. The last Roof Cleaning we did in there was about the same size and took 2 coats too. I remember because we had to leave and go get more mix cause I thought we would have enough. Little did I know that it was gonna be Charcoal Black...It was a beautiful day for it today though wasn't it.

nice work nick, are you doing a lot of roof cleaning just now?

I think people have been holding off till the weather broke? So it has been busy with roofs. Working on some commercial stuff but it's getting tough to get them to sign on with service. We have been picking up a few more P/M companies that have some good projects comming up.

Hopefully we can get the ball rolling again this year, it was looking pretty dismal over the last few months due to weather i'm sure. But I have been recovering from double shoulder surgery over the last 4 months so the slow down helped me recover quicker. How are you doing? staying busy with commercial.

They were both charcoal black and they both needed a second coat. But it was a pretty day today!!:thumbup2:

My neighbors home (2 doors down) and his $99 any size roof job this morning. Went over and told them they were destroying his roof, but to no avail.
Nice job Nick. I have a big one tomorrow.

When people tell me they can have their roof cleaned for 99 dollars, I tell them I will ruin it with pressure cleaning for only 50 bucks!
That makes em think twice.
But to some idiots, getting a low price for roof cleaning is all that matters.
How someone can live in a 350,00.00 home, drive a BMW, wear a Rolex, yet want a 99.00 dolllar roof cleaning is beyond me ?

First part of this year has been pretty busy with commercial stuff - one of my customers just took on 2 brand new properties, so that was a bonus.

Working on a couple of big things - thought I had them in the bag, but they've hit a couple of stumbling blocks (on their end), was hoping to close them by end of Feb, but now hoping for end of March... we'll see. This has taken up a lot of our time so not been as active in chasing and marketing as we should have.

Hope your shoulders are back to 100% quickly... if the weather keeps on getting better I'm sure you and your guys will be run off your feet!!

Great job on that roof Nick!

How many gallons of mix did you use on that roof with the 2 coats?

I have a 5000sq.ft. roof coming up, 1/2 barrel tile and very steep so I know it will use a lot of mix.

Thanks.

We went thru 165 gal of mix. If you are going to be doing a real steep roof look into that Ammonyx Lo seems to have much better cling than regular surfactant.

Hey Nick, what did those set the home owner back? Just curious what roof cleaning that size is going for in Florida. A pm would be best instead of the open board.

Great job, it looks awesome

Thanks Nick.

I called today and checked on the order I placed last week, not sure if it got shipped out but asked them if it did not get sent out to please send me some to try, got a steep, 5000sq.ft. roof to clean and need some good cling to the mix.

Thanks Nick.

Hey Chris, glad to see things are going well. Dont forget we're just a hop skip and a jump away.

Thanks Nick.

I just went down to Lori today to pick some up, I am going on what I have heard from Chris & Larry on this product? I have not tried it yet myself.

The Ammonyx LO gives good cling. It would take many bottles of Dawn to provide equivalent results. The "Apple Butter" is even better that Lori will be getting in soon.
Both are powerful, industrial grade surfactants, that share unconditional Chlorine Stability.
Nice for us, mixing up dual 300 gallon tanks, knowing we are not harming the chemical we paid good money for.
Beyond a certain percentage, there is no further thickening effect with Ammonyx LO, only Suds.
This is where Apple Butter come into play. It takes over where Ammonyx LO stops thickening.
Lori is taking "pre orders" for it she told me. A few guys at RCIA jokingly called it "Apple Butter" because insanely thick, almost soft butter like roof cleaning mixtures are now possible. Because Viscosity of the roof cleaning mixture is increased, it will not shoot quite as far, and final nozzle size and pattern selection may have to be adjusted somewhat to account for the increase in viscosity.
Or, it may spray fine, as is, depending on your pump/hosecombo.

I got some Ammonyx Lo delivered from Lori today....gonna play with it tomorrow....we started a 55 building community on Monday and start a 48 building community as soon as we finish this one. Love it. Plenty of time to to play with the Ammonyx Lo.

I was also thinking about playing with the Ammonyx Lo in our degreaser when we do our gas stations.....anyone experiment with it on really nasty concrete?
There are numerous references to the use of Ammonyx LO as a degreaser, or a component of a degreasing compound.
Here is a aircraft cleaner patent for degreasing aluminum, but you get the idea ?
Of course, because this particular formula is used for cleaning aircraft, the percentages are pretty mild, but you get the idea ?

24. A cleaning/degreasing composition for heavy duty exterior and interior aircraft cleaning and degreasing consisting essentially of approximately 1.35 weight percent of lauryldimethylamine N-oxide (Ammonyx LO), approximately 0.92 weight percent of a polyacrylic acid crosslinked with a polyalkenyl polyether, approximately 3.2 weight percent of sodium metasilicate, approximately 0.5 weight percent of sodium nitrite and the balance of water, said composition containing no solvent.
