sodium hydroxide

I recently obtained a 5-gallon bucket of sodium hydroxide( NaOH)
The bucket contains a 50% solution. I beleive that some of you are using this for decks and concrete drives. Can anyone give me some formulation advice on using this product?
Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated!
