Wondering about sodium bifluoride - its Klenztone, which is great stuff, and glazed surface restorer from ecochem - is it very dangerous as is and does it release hydrofluoric acid when You use it?
This is some nasty stuff. The MSDS says to never add water, because of lack of ventilation. From what I see, it is a weakened version of HF. That is something that you don't want to put in the hands of inexperienced people, and give a lot of training to someone that is going to use it.

It is really not much better. If you do happen to mix it with Sulforic, Hydrochloric, or Muriatic acid, (Yes, I know Hydrochloric and muriatic are the same thing...) You will get HF. That has it's good points and bad points. I would still exercise caution.
