Soap Injector Question?

Hey Christopher, the remote sounds interesting. I may want to try that as well. Didn't even know about it and can only guess how it works? Anyone currently using one care to chime in on their experience with it. Also, what is the full name of the remote. I also like the bigger nozzles for rinsing.

Just yesterday we pulled the injector out of the bucket so I could whisk mulch off the sidewalk with the soap nozzle so it wasn't going everywhere.

I also like to soap and rinse with the larger orifice nozzles, less stuff blowing around and a better rinse.

I will be ordering the remote from Russ soon to try it out and see how that goes, hopefully will save some walking and some time, especially on the larger projects.

Let me know how that works out, been thinking about that for a while but been hearing mixed reviews. We're going to a 3-way ball valve set up.

Remotes are good several out there use the dema 481 p valve you will be good to go.As far as remotes go just like anything else you buy the higher quality ones are pretty high the one I use is around $1100.It has a range of 1000 ft.Around building throug the woods etc.I also think that when the valve is disengaged or chemical tube is pulled out the little ball an oring are compromised because when it's drawing liquid it kinda acts as a lubricate and doesn't allow the ball to stick down in the hole an can cause the little oring to dislodge and cause the injector not to draw anymore.Just my thoughts.

Hal, will yours receive the signal through houses or buildings ok? That would be great if I could find one that will do that to save a lot of walking.

What brand/company is that one you have for $1100?

I have heard of more expensive brands out there, some as high as $2500.00 but I don't need all those bells and whistles, just something that works, especially through houses and buildings if possible for a decent price and that is rebuildable when needed instead of throwing away the unit when it stops working.

I know powerwashstore can set up a remote for soap. I have never used or know what the price would be but, do remember one of there videos of a custom truck mounted skid had one.

Bill or Paul?

Largo has the kind I have and yeah it transmit around houses buldings etc.It was higher than I wanted to pay of course but as Jerry would say work speed is imoney. You need to get the good valves though or sh will destroy it.

The first and simple set up I started with was a drop cord that was wired to 2 ball valves that had a 3 way toggle switch I had monted to the gun.It was the cheapest by far an worked like a charm. Then I put together several cheap remote systems that would change the valves in direct line of sight. However when I got behind another truck it would hesitate to change over.Thats when I found the more expensive ones I did some research on them an looked at several before I bought the one I have now.It is expensive but for 2 stepping trucks it saves so much time.If you wash trucks you must be fast and cheap lol.

Thanks Hal for the info.

Hal, are your solenoids the 110 volt, 24 volt or 12 volt?

I have wanted to try different brands of remote controls but I am not sure if it is the frequency that helps go through trucks or houses or if it is the signal strength or what that makes them work better with obstacles.

I think that Marcus Raif also has a remote control system but I don't know the brand name.

There is a truck wash vendor that has a cool remote control where it will send you a signal to let you know that the solenoids changed, I think the control vibrates but that system is in the $2000.00 range, too rich for my blood.
