Learned this through experience Scott. I never owned a suit until this year when Mrs. Sparkle Works wanted me to get one. The same people look at me and treat me completely different when in a suit. Its just the way of the world I suppose.My opinion is that everyone should own a suit, and know how to where it. It makes a huge difference in how you stand, even when you do not have a suit on. It also helps you appear like you are in a higher social class. That is important when you are meeting with the people who have the gold.

This is what I do as a side job
I wore a tie to a meeting with a pm once. The guy walked right past me. Seriously. He was looking for the pressure washer guy.

Not Quite on the success level of some of the others mentioned, but I can relate to him more then the others. He can speak "average person" talk when he needs to.
